Web Communications Specialist full-time
The Mental Health Commission of Canada is a non-profit organization created to focus national attention on mental health issues and to work to improve the health and social outcomes of people living with mental health problems.
The Commission seeks a creative, solutions-oriented individual who can think outside the box, and has 5 or more years of experience in a communication environment, web development or a related field.
Reporting to the Communication Director, you will become a part of our multidisciplinary team, playing a key role in the management and coordination of our online and web activities, from the planning stages to implementation and maintenance, ensuring optimal web positioning for the Commission.
A degree in Communications or a relevant discipline backs your experience in website development, using ‘best of breed’ tools and technologies, including content management systems, content creation and publishing tools and processes and web metrics and analytics. Additionally, you have developed content for the web, including content creation, usability and information architecture, and worked with web technologies, including HTML, scripting environments, web services, database applications and real-time applications and protocols.
This is a full-time position based in Calgary, Alberta or Ottawa, Ontario CANADA.
