Position Overview:
LawDepot.com is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Product Marketing Manager in Edmonton, Alberta. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the creation of interactive web products and services that are helpful, easy to understand and a pleasure to use for our 20 million plus yearly visitors. This is a full time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Product Specialists working to develop interactive product questionnaires that customers fill out to create customized legal documents
- Build, prioritize and execute against the product roadmap
- Collaborate with our Legal and Design departments to drive growth of key performance indicators (conversion rate, revenue, subscription renewals)
- Develop innovative strategies for increasing user engagement and retention
- Assess the viability of potential projects, services and features
- Mentor team members to develop a high-performance culture
- Gather and sort through quantitative and qualitative data to determine problem areas and opportunities for improvement across products
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Writing, Business, Law or other relevant fields
- Experience in product marketing, management or digital marketing
- Ability to communicate complicated information in a succinct way that all users can understand
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage relationships and collaborate with multiple subject matter experts
- Understanding of consumer psychology, online marketing and conversion optimization
- Knowledge of law and legal matters would be an asset
- Working knowledge of design best practices would be an asset
