Exhibit Studio is a rapidly growing designer and builder of trade show displays.  We are dedicated to the highest standard of customer satisfaction and our clients receive the personal attention of our whole team.  Our focus is geared towards identifying a client's true needs, helping to establish realistic budget parameters and creating effective exhibit solutions that encompass design, hardware and graphics.

We are looking for a full-time, PRINT / PRODUCTION MANAGER to join our team. Experience in the exhibit field would be a benefit, although not essential, as we will provide full product orientation and training. As we do focus on creating exhibits with a high graphic content, this position will suit someone with a large format print background.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check client files, colour corrections and prepare files for print
• Print and laminate production
• Ensure production deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner
• Supervise and schedule assistant
• Manage sub contractors
• Purchase exhibit supplies and print materials
• Inventory control
• Assist the sales team with project quotations, client contact and meetings
• Assist the in-house designer with hardware specifications
• Research new products and materials
• Design new exhibit layouts

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience with large format printers, including inkjet, solvent and latex, plus knowledge of laminating equipment
• Must be comfortable working in both Mac & PC platforms
• A full understanding of design programs including Onyx, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong work ethic, self motivated and quick to learn
• Ability to multitask and work under the pressure of deadlines
• Must be hands on and able to pitch in when needed in other departments
• Organized with precision and attention to detail
• Experience in using basic hand & power tools
• Ability to work with both imperial and metric forms of measurement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have reliable vehicle

Exhibit Studio Offers:

• Salary range between $50,000 to $70,000 annually (dependent on experience)
• Hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday (some overtime required)
• Three weeks vacation
