Partner Marketing Manager full-time
Absolute Software has an exciting opportunity for a Partner Marketing Manager. We are looking for an exceptional marketing and operations minded individual to ensure the ongoing operational success as Absolute continues to expand its partner network and partner program globally.
As part of the Global Marketing team, the Partner Marketing Manager will work directly with Absolute’s partner relationship management (PRM) vendor, Relayware, as well as internal stakeholders and internal PRM users. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing and operations, be able to manage projects on time and have strong presentation skills. This person will report to the Director, Field Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing
Work with content creators in Sales, Marketing and Training departments to create and deploy content to the partner portal and to ensure it is kept up to date
Work cross functionally with business owners in Marketing, Sales, Training and Operations to define, develop and execute content and go-to-market needs
Work with geo-heads to ensure all partner marketing programs have the opportunity to be applied internationally
Develop, own and maintain a global editorial calendar for the partner portal
Track and report status, as well as coordinate efforts, of content development projects
Refine processes and tools of content development and publishing as needed
Understand and analyze marketplace trends and implications for our partners

Analyze and report on all key marketing initiatives to senior management, analysis of Partner Portal usage, KPIs monthly and upon request
Operations
Manage vendor relationship as well as managing the day to day activities with them
Act as the primary contact internally for any PRM requests and issues
Analyze and prioritize requests from sponsors, stakeholders, PRM users and partners to define clear requirements
Be recognized as the PRM subject matter expert and evangelist within Absolute
Work with the PRM vendor to customize and configure the PRM as required by sponsors and users
Work with the IT Applications team to customize and configure the connection between our CRM system (MS-CRM Dynamics) and the PRM system
Create custom reporting for users and sponsors using the PRM system/tools
Work with sponsors and users to create and maintain a backlog of PRM change requests and defects – and work with the PRM vendor to prioritize and schedule
Support internal stakeholders in building and executing on a global channel partner strategy

Train internal users on the use of the PRM as needed
Required Education and Skills
A university degree in Business or Marketing,
5+ years of experience in a marketing or operations type role
2+ years of experience in managing cross-departmental projects
Background in or exposure to partner sales and/or marketing would be an advantage
Background in or exposure to web/content marketing would be an advantage
Knowledge of CRM systems, specifically Microsoft CRM, is a distinct advantage
Knowledge of PRM systems would be an advantage
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent relationship management skills
Ability to work with and manage business stakeholders, team members and a third party vendor
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and skills
Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
