Marketing & Production Specialist
Victoria
An exciting opportunity exists for a Marketing & Production Specialist in our Victoria office. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Community Investment, you will oversee marketing and advertising production on behalf of Island Savings. As a key player, your responsibilities include day to day production, coordination and implementation of all advertising production activities, and developing relationships with external suppliers. Our ideal candidate is:
Organized, with an eye for detail

• Exceptional organization and time management skills with proven ability to co-ordinate a high volume of projects within tight deadlines
• Outstanding attention to detail and demonstrated success managing the production of materials from start to finish, including strong editing and proofing skills

Interested in production and eager to learn

• Experience with print production and media buying, including negotiating with suppliers, sourcing materials and working with media partners
• Entry to mid-level experience with digital advertising and production, including Google and Facebook
• Working knowledge of basic graphic design, including experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other graphics programs

Team-oriented

• Success working with graphic designers, advertising agencies, communication experts and senior level managers
• Focused on building and maintaining trust and rapport by consistently anticipating and exceeding the needs of clients and/or teammates, while initiating highly effective recovery when required
• Proven ability to consider stakeholder and consumer needs

Your education & experience
You have a minimum of a 2 year college diploma or university degree in marketing (or a related field) and 1-2 years previous experience in a fast-paced multi-task production and marketing role, including print production and purchasing, as well as digital production.
