Marketing Manager full-time
Description
This role is responsible for a range of marketing initiatives required to support a team of web coordinators, graphic designers and marketing experts. This role provides an opportunity to be involved in the beauty industry and be involved first hand in various tasks and influential company projects.
Modern Beauty Supplies prides itself on being a family owned and operated company although it has grown with over 120 employees nationwide. This provides a diverse and flexible culture without the complex structure of a larger corporation. As the Marketing Director you would report directly to the CEO, CFO and COO and will work collaboratively and in partnership with the marketing department to develop and execute internal and external marketing tasks. Such areas of expertise for this role include brand positioning, market research, product promotion development, advertising relations, public relations, budget planning and financial forecasting, as well as market analysis.

Responsibilities
- Web and social media traffic building strategies
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns
- Responsible for researching, developing, and executing sales and marketing strategies for new and existing products
- Assist with the development and ongoing direction of the organizations digital marketing strategy including: website, email marketing, advertising, public relations and social media
- Guiding the day-to-day activities of the marketing team and ensuring the team objectives are implemented
- Assist with the design and implementation of marketing collateral materials and advertising initiatives
- Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
- Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
- Coordinate the production of content from concept through publication, including copy writing, proofing and approvals, for online, print and other advertising mediums
- Coordinate digital screen content for all store locations - create content, manage content schedule, liaise with suppliers to source content
- Assist team members with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested
- Developing and managing budgets
- Maintains marketing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Management and/or Marketing
- At least 2 years in a senior marketing role
- Experience in working with a content management system and websites
- Confident, driven and dynamic leader
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities
Skills and Experience:
- Expert in visual layout and creative design work
- Exceptional technical writing skills
- History of working with web designing and development
- Proficient in various programs, specifically the Adobe CS6 and Microsoft Suite on a Mac
