Marketing & Communications Manager full-time

The Gastown Business Improvement Society (GBIS) is now accepting applications for the position of Marketing & Communications Manager.

You will have a:
University degree in Communications, Public Relations or Business (Marketing); MBA preferred.
5+ years related experience with proven track record.
Experience working with diverse creative positions, including copy writers, graphic designers, web designers, videographers and editors.
Good understanding of Event Management, Advertising (Traditional, Online and Search), Media Buy, Social Media and Public Relations.
Strong command of branding/marketing fundamentals, as well as experience building campaign strategies.
A passion and demonstrated understanding of the marketing discipline.
Exceptional task management skills with respect for timelines and deadlines.
Solutions focused.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
