We’re looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join our fast-paced, results-driven Demand Generation Team. If you have a passion for database segmentation, elegant copy, increasing open rates, and nurturing leads in an extremely fast-paced environment, then we want to hear about it!
As the Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for strategic and tactical execution of enterprise-focused, B2B email nurturing programs and campaigns. Success is measured across many criteria, including deliverability, open rates, CTRs, lead stage conversion and ultimately email-influenced revenue. This role works cross-functionally with teams including Marketing Automation, Design, Content, Lead Development and Revenue Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the execution of a highly targeted email marketing strategy for HootSuite Enterprise, HootSuite University and other programs or business units as required
- Design highly targeted, multi-touch email nurture programs based on multiple segmentation criteria, including region and language
- Improve the operational process of campaign creation, execution and analysis
- Track and optimize key performance indicators, including managing nurture campaign analytics such as open rate, CTR, lead velocity and influenced revenue
- Oversee ongoing testing and optimization programs including incorporating learnings from campaign analysis
- Ensure email communication compliance with global anti-spam and privacy legislation
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance testing on emails prior to deployment
- Manage the team responsible for coordinating email campaigns
Required Skills & Experience:
- Three years’ experience in a global B2B email marketing and project management role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years experience in online A/B/n testing and conversion optimization
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience directly and indirectly managing cross-functional teams
- Exceptional team player with the ability to work cross functionally to achieve results
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems with preference given to Marketo and Salesforce
- Proven success in creating and delivering integrated, inbound marketing campaigns
- Strong organizational skill with attention to detail and focus on quality of results
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to operationalize results based on
- Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
