DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Marketing, a leader who will establish a new benchmark for marketing achievements within our industry and at our company. With extensive experience and knowledge across key disciplines of digital and social media, lead generation, content marketing and corporate communications, you will be responsible for setting strategy, developing plans, driving execution and celebrating success with your team and colleagues alike.
The ideal candidate will have a proven marketing communications background with a strong track record of demonstrable execution that shows you not only know what you are doing but can make it happen via results and metric driven achievements. Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day marketing execution and deliverables – Lead Gen, SEO/SEM, Social and Digital campaigns, Brand and corporate marketing, Events
- Develop and execute strong and exciting plans that develop on key business metrics and goals
- Plan and manage annual budget with quarterly execution and review
- Using Eloqua marketing tools, develop and drive effective programs to achieve the goals aligned to a metric craven business
- Evolve our brand presence and brand tenants to a broader and more savvy audience
- Optimize and maximise the social web with cost effective and efficient programs and vendor services
- Develop and nurture a strong marketing team, utilizing skills and mentoring
- As part of the management leadership team, contribute to business strategy and direction, cultural and corporate development and creating a great place for people to do their best work
Requirements:
- University Degree, MBA or similar in Marketing, Business & Communications and/or similar qualification preferred
- A thorough knowledge of the landscape of social and web base marketing
- Strong experience and proven track record of execution in marketing programs and campaigns driving lead generation and sales pipeline activity
- Experience and proven knowledge in the field of content marketing,
- Excellent written communication skills and articulate verbal communication
- Must have good experience of working with Eloqua software and marketing tools, metrics and campaign management
- Has experience of developing brand strategy and positioning
- Knowledge of SalesForce CRM and its interoperability with marketing
- Experience in website development/build and maximising the corporate web property as a business tool
- Attention to detail in all aspects of your work
- Good level of business acumen
- Confident and open working style
- Strong computer skills, including use of Eloqua software and marketing tools
