We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our Vega team in Burnaby, BC.  Reporting to Director of Digital Marketing, you will work closely with our Marketing and in-house Creative Team to shape our digital footprint, campaign execution, and product communication.  For this role, you must be full of creative ideas, passion, and absolutley love digital.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee owned channel strategies including SEO/content, UX and social media
• Lead development of social media and content channel strategy including brand storytelling to increase growth and engagement.
• Manage on-site and on-page audits to optimize for SEO best practice compliance
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
• Brief, project manage and measure promotional programs/campaigns including product launches, website build, SEM/SEO, content and social media
• Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
• Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
• Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
• Analyze digital marketing programs to identify trends and insights to optimize strategies based on performance
• Develop social media strategy and programs to increase reach and engagement
• Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
• Deliver digital initiatives to increase engagement and conversion
• Provide monthly and quarterly performance reports, projections and reviews on key performance metrics
• Project management including delivering complex digital projects on time, on budget
• Provide ongoing competitive intelligence and digital trend information
• Liaise with and manage third party companies
• Lead digital marketing team with two direct reports

Skills and Qualifications

• 5 years’+ experience in Digital Marketing
• 2 years’+ experience leading a high performing digital marketing team
• 2 years’+ experience in SEO/content and social media paid strategy
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
• Ability to make data-driven recommendations to guide corporate strategy
• Advanced  analytical capabilities with strong working knowledge (minimum 2 years)  of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools and other analytics platforms
• Experienced in goal-setting and defining & managing KPIs
• Highly analytical and an expert in analyzing metrics, identifying trends and developing strategies based on insights
• Able to manage project deadlines within established cost and time frames
