Reporting to the Director, Experiential Marketing the incumbent is responsible for building, executing and delivering marketing campaigns for clients, with responsibility for client management, budget management and project management. The Account Manager is responsible for producing measurable business results for clients. The Account Manager leads Account Coordinators, through strategic development and tactical implementation of Newad marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Promotes and nurtures organic growth with each client relationship;
- Client lead on all campaigns, communications and client management (regionally and nationally);
- Answers requests for proposals, researches information and the necessary tools to prepare proposals;
- Prepares and participates in client pitches with Director’s support;
- Ability to develop ideas and lead brainstorm sessions;
- Producing measurable business results for our clients;
- Responsible for campaign development, budget creation and overall management on multiple projects;
- Oversees master campaign plan and critical path;
- Oversees the training of Infield teams on all campaigns (traveling to other markets required);
- Prepares and manages detailed budgets, implement cost control, savings and efficiencies;
- Monitor and ensure budget achievement;
- Contributes to the development of new methodologies and diffusion of innovative practices in Experiential marketing;
- Proactively identifies problems and develops solutions;
- Delivering on-time and on-budget;
- Coordinate the work of internal and external teams.
Qualifications
- College or University degree in Communications or Marketing;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an advertising agency, either in account management or client services;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills;
- Ability to multitask;
- Creative problem solving;
- Client service oriented;
- Optimistic;
- Amazing leadership skills;
- Self motivated;
- Detailed knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel);
- Open to traveling within Canada.
