WHO YOU ARE?

You’re a talented Web Developer and Web Designer based in the Vancouver area. You can take or create a Photoshop mock-up and translate it to a pixel perfect website. You are good at PHP and have a good knowledge of open source CMS like Wordpress. You’re an experienced, highly motivated individual with the ability to work efficiently and accurately. You realise content and design is fundamental to a brilliant website, and will push boundaries to reach the best possible outcome.

KEY SKILLS :

• Experienced in HTML, CSS, PHP/MySQL, JavaScript
• An expert understanding and ability to hand-code websites
• Responsible for both front and back-end
• Able to translate Photoshop mock-up into pixel perfect website
• Experience integrating with server-side code to produce dynamic pages
• Good understanding of Web Accessibility
• Knowledge of HTML Email best practice desirable
• User experience; cross browser/platform support
• Graphic Design skills in type, imagery and brand

-Some understand in SEO

- Experienced in using Adobe Design Standard 4 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Some experienced in Flash
• Experienced in open source CMS like Wordpress, Joomla

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Manage website CMS and e-commerce site
• Assisting on other web projects
• Contribute to brand development for the web
• Create email newsletters, events invitations and similar tasks
• Design website videos, flash banners etc

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A diploma or university degree to related field
• Minimum three years experience
