ABOUT US
We gather big data for enterprise SEO.
Since 2008, we’ve been equipping SEO analysts with the kind of massive-scale, real-time search data they need to stay nimble. Our cloud-based platform offers truly unlimited rank tracking and SERP analytics for regions, cities, and locations around the world—all backed up by one-on-one, expert-level service. That’s how we’ve built a client base that includes some of the world’s largest online brands and SEO agencies.
ROLE
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
As our Account Manager, you’ll be the go-to person when it comes to making sure that our growing client base is happy, equipped, and getting the best experience out of the STAT platform.
-
You’ll build solid relationships.
You will check in regularly with new and long-term clients and give them a forum to share their ideas, needs, and concerns. And you’ll be working to foster real trust and long-lasting relationships with several sophisticated users and decision-makers per account. That includes face-to-face at conferences and other industry events, so you better have a great memory! -
You’ll become a product expert.
Our clients will come to see you as their personal expert and advocate, and they’ll rely on you to train, troubleshoot, and support their business strategies. You’ll need to advise and assist them on everything from industry best practices, to API integration solutions, to custom reporting, and you’ll have to coordinate with everyone else on our team to make sure we top all expectations. -
You’ll support revenue and new business.
In addition to equipping our existing clients to think big with our platform, you’ll be working with sales and marketing to help secure potential new business. One huge part of that will be seeking out every opportunity to showcase our clients’ successes in our marketing. And since you’ll understand our platform better than anyone, you may even be leading demos with potential clients and nurturing them through the sign-up process.
REQUIREMENTS
Here’s what we’re looking for:
-
You’re a pro with tech accounts.
You have at least two years of account management experience—preferably in SaaS software, traditional software, or mobile apps—and you come with strong recommendations to prove that you know your stuff. It’s not just about experience; it’s about personality. We’re looking for someone who is smart, passionate, genuine, and approachable—everything a savvy client could ever want. -
You actually love SEO.
We’re dead serious about this one. We’re looking for someone who has considerable knowledge of SEO and online marketing. The industry is our client-base, and we absolutely need you to be able to understand what our clients need and talk about SEO with know-how and enthusiasm (without bullshitting). -
You don’t need micromanaging.
“Self-starter” is kind of a weasely word, but that’s exactly what we need. We’re a smaller company doing big things, and we’re changing every day. You’ll only be a great fit if you actually look forward to wearing several hats, taking total ownership of tasks and problems, keeping yourself focused and organized, and holding yourself to a certain standard. This is a crazy challenging role and it will keep you on your toes.
CULTURE
Four reasons why you’d want to work with us:
- You want to play a big part in growing a young, profitable company.
- You do your best in a setting where excellent work is what’s valued—not long hours. (A good work-life balance is just how we do things.)
- You’d like to work somewhere where you can wear your old hoodie—or your crisp new suit—and nobody is going to mind.
- You’re looking for a big challenge that involves lots of variety, lots of learning, and plenty of on-your-toes thinking. You maybe even want to help rewrite the book on what it means to be an enterprise software company.
- You can see yourself joining a small-but-growing team in an open and collaborative Gastown office where there are sometimes dogs zipping around.
