Responsibilities

Infusion is looking for an experienced Visual Designer with a passion for innovation and digital products. Your portfolio will show examples of strong Visual Design across multiple platforms including desktop, mobile, tablet, and POS. Experience working in a collaborative, design and UX driven environment is necessary.

• Execute high-end design, identity, and brand marketing solutions for clients across a range of digital platforms including Web, intranet, extranet, mobile, kiosk, touch-screen, and whatever is next.
• Ensure Infusion's visual and interaction design work is on par with the best in the industry.
• Explain, internally and externally, rationale for creative choices.
• Contribute designs to new business pitches.
• Turn around quality work within tight timeframes.
• Perform 'trend-spotting' across the design industry to leverage on projects and share with colleagues.
• Partner with Engineers, Web Developers, and UI Designers to create harmonious and high-quality products.
• Generate assets for Build phases that are high-quality yet download quickly.
• Handle identity design including logos and style guides.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years experience creating interactive design with multi-disciplinary teams at any known agency, design boutique or media company.
• Design fundamentals are a must: portfolios should convey mastery of the interactive design medium including strong typography, identity design, color, usability, and imagery, to name a few. The portfolio should showcase design execution on at least seven significant Website or digital initiatives.
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills a must. Strong illustration skills and motion design a major plus.
• Ability to prove how design decisions directly led to successful project outcomes.
• Strong multi-tasker. Be able to think and respond quickly while maintaining attention to detail across multiple projects.
• Good communication skills to articulate creative and aesthetic choices to clients and team members.
• Overall understanding of Internet technology platforms and their potential to express ideas (examples may include HTML5, CSS, Flash, Javascript, etc.)
• Prior experience designing for emerging interaction platforms such as mobile, iPad, touch-screen, Microsoft Surface, kiosks, a major plus.
• Degree in design from a leading design school.
• Prior participation on award-winning design teams a major plus.
