Video Producer contract

Pixel Motion Films is an innovative approach to modern-day filmmaking through digital media. Telling stories is at the core of everything we do and we believe every brand, place, and destination has a story behind it. We bring this ideology to our clients to help them create digital video campaigns that engage with their target audience.

We’re currently looking to add a video producer to our team of creatives. Applicants should have superior organizational skills, a keen sense of detail, and a strong understanding of the video production workflow. They should also have strong leadership qualities with the ability to take and give direction effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in our fast-paced work environment. You will spearhead projects that will involve overseeing and managing a small team of video editors, motion graphic artists, designers, copywriters, and web developers, in addition to client correspondence, production coordination/scheduling, sourcing talent and locations, and assisting in production when needed.

Successful candidates will have some form of post-secondary education in new media/film production, a minimum of 3 years of digital producing experience and a demonstrated passion for video production. A marketing background is also ideal but not required. Our perfect candidate will have knowledge of the post-production workflow and be able to take on small video editing assignments when needed.

Preference will be given to people who have a direct film/video background and who possess more than one of the skill sets listed. The position is available on a contract basis to start with an opportunity to move into a full time role at a later date.
