Trade Marketing & PR Coordinator full-time

We are searching for a Trade Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator to supplement the work of the Manager of Dealer and Distributor Relations. As a team, it will be your mandate to ensure our global distributors and their retailers receive the information, marketing assets, event coordination, and public relations support required for our brands in their local markets. A day in the life:
Ensure dealer and distributor mailing lists are up-to-date and work with Manager of Dealer and Distributor Relations to develop and coordinate mailings
With guidance from the Manager of Dealer & Distributor Relations, coordinate brands’ show presence, including international product shipments and booth logistics;
With guidance from the Manager of Dealer and Distributor Relations and VP Marketing, edit and coordinate the distribution of announcements to trade press and inform internal sales teams of the announcements
With guidance from the Manager of Dealer Distributor Relations, manage the product review and media loans process
Maintain distributor access to cloud-based brand library and ensure marketing assets are organized logically for quick search
International travel may be required to provide onsite support
Other duties as assigned
What you bring to the team:
Excellent communication abilities with native or near-native English writing skills
1 to 3 years of experience in public relations, preferably in an agency or consumer product company; experience in event management with complex logistics and international scope a plus
Working knowledge of keyword search algorithms, HTML and CSS, and expert user of MS Office suite of products
Diploma in public relations, journalism, English literature, or other related discipline from an accredited institution
Our products can be heavy to lift and awkward to handle; this role will require someone with the ability to lift and handle up to 15 kgs (35 lbs)
