Key Job Functions:

• Post articles about the products Amplis sells to the blog, Twitter & Facebook
• Develop innovative strategies
• Work with the brand managers to develop ideas for product tutorials and product releases for use on the blog
• Reply to blog questions / comments and approve posts on the blog, Twitter & Facebook
• Provide product reviewers with context for the articles they will write and aid in proofing their articles before they are posted to the blog
• Track and organize the lending of demo gear to various bloggers for review
• Maintain relationships with review bloggers and be the contact person for their purchases from Amplis
• Review site statistics with Google Analytics and Google Alerts to track promotions and releases to measure effectiveness

Qualifications:

• B.A. or equivalent degree in communications, journalism or related field
• Superior writing and editing skills for print and web. Adept at writing/proofing useful content that reads smoothly
• Experience managing and promoting Wordpress blogs
• Experience in project management and strong attention to detail
• Passionate about photography and the products related to the field as well as a background in photographic principals
• Working knowledge of search engine optimization, social media trends and methods to use social media to develop brand recognition
• English / French bilingual preferred
• Knowledge of CS5: Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe InDesign
