Job Summary:

International Luxury Fashion Design firm is looking for an experienced and innovative Social Media Specialist/Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior experience, which includes minimum 2+ years in social media and graphic design (experience in marketing is an asset) and a portfolio that represents strong competency in editorial/layout design and demonstrates precise technique and attention to detail.  You must be able to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and understand how to juggle multiple projects while providing complete design and marketing solutions.

As a Social Media Specialist you will be responsible for socialization of our Brands online content, with a unique opportunity to develop and help shape social media strategies for the company. The position requires a designer who is versatile, can think on his or her feet and work as a team player to see projects through to completion.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

• Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design
• Knowledgeable across social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Blogging, etc.)
• Superior Photoshop/Illustrator skills
• Proficient InDesign skills
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, Javascipt and Flash an asset
• Experience in page layout or editorial/magazine design
• Ability to present innovative design solutions
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
• Can work on projects from concept to completion
• Have a keen eye for design – with attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Previous experience in fashion or related field preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
