Social Media & Retail Marketing Specialist contract

Audi is one of the most exciting and fastest growing premium brands in the world. The growth in Canada over the last 5 years has been tremendous, and as a result we are seeking out fresh and talented individuals to support our growing business. Audi Canada is seeking a Social media and retail marketing specialist. This newly created position will be responsible for leading Audi Canada's social media strategy and implementation, as well as growing the existing dealer marketing support role for our network of 41 dealers. Beyond this, the candidate will also gain valuable experience working on cross functional marketing assignments in order to grow their knowledge base at Audi Canada.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall
- Contributes to the overall growth and development of the Audi brand via progressive marketing activities and implementation in Canada
- Work directly with the Manager, Advertising and Media as a support/specialist role
- Build relations with key AUDI AG and Audi of America stakeholders and other support tools
Social Media
- Contributes to the planning and implementation process for social media activities for Audi Canada corporate in conjunction with the Director of Marketing and the Advertising Manager
- Working directly with our advertising/social media agency to manage the day to day process and monitoring of content and user interactions
- Leads the implementation of the project plans, securing whatever internal and external support is needed (along with Requests for Proposals/Quotes, bidding/pricing, etc)
- Track and manage the budget for all related activities
Retail Marketing
- Managing the overall communications activities for the Audi dealer network, including: advertising, online/digital, in store Point of Sale material, events and sponsorships
- Project lead for the Individual Dealer Marketing (co-op) funding program
- Working closely with the Audi dealer network and Audi area managers
- Track and manage the budget for all retail marketing activity
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION Bachelor Degree - marketing or business preferred
EXPERIENCE
Relevant Experience 5-7 years
Supervisory Experience 1-3 years
-Solid understanding of the integrated marketing process
-Functional marketing experience (ie: advertising, digital, experiential) within an OEM or agency
-Understanding of the retail experience
