Would you enjoy providing commuters with service related information, in order to help position transit as the preferred choice of travel? Are you a tactical marketer with a strong desire to execute social marketing initiatives, community outreach, and market research? If so then we are looking for you!

You will be responsible to:

• Prepare plans outlining Social Marketing initiatives
• Implement social marketing efforts surrounding service information, rider etiquette and commuter safety
• Lead internal marketing activities related to corporate culture
• Monitor initiatives to ensure plans are followed and changed if required
• Work with community partners and various organizations to help educate riders on the system
• Outline and execute outreach initiatives to disseminate transit information to different target groups
• Collaborate with service planners, communication officers and the brand management team to develop materials in a collaborative manner
• Manage project related expenditures, while supporting the Team Lead with the team's annual budget

Qualifications:

• Completed University Degree in Commerce or a related field, with major coursework in marketing
• 2 years of demonstrated marketing experience
• Extensive knowledge of social marketing, program planning and relationship building is required
• Well developed research and facilitation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, as well as strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of community organizations and an ability to promote public transit within communities

Hours of Work: 33.75 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
