Senior Web Designer

Real Estate Webmasters is located in Nanaimo, BC located on beautiful Vancouver Island and has been a leader in the real estate business since 2004 – we're a cohesive team of experienced professionals, and we stand behind our product. All positions are "on-site”, so you’ll need a willingness to relocate for your dream job.

Talent, design sense and experience is what we're looking for in our premiere senior graphic/web designers. This position is all about breathing life into static works of art and establishing form and function in a team environment.

What we are looking for:

• 5 + years designing in a production environment with a heavy emphasis on usability and user experience.
• A creative online portfolio with emphasis on typography, illustration and cutting edge visual design.
• Experience with industry standard software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills.
• Experience with LESS (Dynamic CSS Language).
• Experience designing for content management systems.
• Experience with design techniques such as progressive enhancement and responsive design.
• Ability to effectively and independently communicate with clients and manage expectations.
• Diploma or degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Helpful but not necessary:

• PHP, jQuery, etc. - the more you know the better!
