Senior Sitecore Developer – Vancouver
We’re searching for a Senior Sitecore Developer who can take a leadership role within an interdisciplinary team. You’ll be responsible for the success of all technical and functional aspects of the team.
Accountabilities will include:
Lead technical design and implementation of Sitecore built projects
Guide project team members in the design, development and testing of Sitecore solutions
Programming, installation, configuration, documentation, operation, monitoring and maintenance of web hardware and software environments
Develop and adhere to coding standards
Perform Dev/Stage/Prod Server deployments
Maintain a consistent focus on quality for projects
Stay abreast of evolving web standards
Perform code reviews, developing and adhering to coding standards
Encourage team awareness and appropriate adoption of emerging technologies
Mentor more junior team members in utilizing new technical skills
Work comfortably within a dynamic, challenging environment while understanding the importance of meeting client delivery deadlines
Maintain open communications on current project status, risks and challenges
Become a recognized subject matter expert within fields of expertise
What you’ll need:
Four year degree
Experience architecting and developing web solutions on Sitecore 7+
Sitecore Certified
5+ years development experience
Proven track record as a technical team member
Experience building and deploying .NET based web solutions
Experience designing data schemas and integrating relational databases into web solutions
Experience with web services
Solid grasp of web solutions utilizing a Content Management System (CMS)
Experience working on other CMS platforms is desired
Experience working with Coveo and Eloqua is desired
Experience with HTML5 and CSS
Advanced Javascript development skills, including knowledge of JQuery and Ajax
Strong .NET/C# skills including proficiency in Web services, rebuilding and deploying .NET applications to the server environment, use of open source frameworks, maintenance, IDE tools such as Visual Studio
Digital Marketing experience and exposure to marketing automation, multi-channel campaign management, social marketing, A/B testing, email campaign management, SEO, and search technologies
Firm understanding of software engineering methodologies such as object-oriented design and design patterns, including MVC
Knowledge and experience with SQL, relational data models and database systems, especially in support of web sites and related architectures
Ability to work well in small teams
Proficiency in Windows environment
Solid experience in testing methodologies, test-driven design and the creation of effective and reliable test cases
Familiarity with web security methodologies such as managing SSL certificates
Experience in designing and coding for web accessibility
Good team skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
