POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Acklands-Grainger is embarking on a journey to redefine its digital marketing strategy.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead the strategic development, execution and ongoing optimization of all paid, owned and earned digital marketing channels.

This candidate would build and lead an actionable multi-million dollar digital marketing plan. In addition, the Senior Digital Marketing Manager would lead the development of Acklands-Grainger’s Account Based Marketing roadmap.

The ideal candidate is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Develop a defined digital marketing vision and strategy, with specific objectives, KPIs and priorities.
  • Develop all digital demand-generation plans across various channels, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, email, display advertising and social media campaign.
  • Initiate Acklands-Grainger’s Account-Based Marketing roadmap, to focus sales and marketing resources on a defined set of target accounts, applying personalized campaigns to resonate with each account.
  • Define Acklands-Grainger’s marketing technology stack roadmap and represent marketing interests on initiatives to integrate systems and data sources.
  • Develop and manage production and cross-border coordination of digital content.
  • Measure, report and assess performance of all digital marketing campaigns against goals.
  • Identify trends and actionable insights to optimize spend and performance.
  • Manage, maintain and report on the digital marketing budget.
  • Lead a team of 2 direct reports to execute and optimize the digital marketing priorities.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business /Commerce or equivalent; MBA preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in marketing at a leadership level, B2B experience is an asset.
  • 5 year of experience in eCommerce, SEO, PPC, Email Marketing, social media and account based marketing
  • Customer-focused, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior within digital channels
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively across all business functional areas and levels of an organization to attain goals and drive business results.
  • Relentlessly challenges the status quo to ensure new ideas are explored
  • Proven ability to lead and navigate change in an unstructured environment
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
