Then consider this opportunity with the Communications and Marketing Branch, where you will work with a team of communications specialists, in partnership with assigned client ministry branches, to develop strategic communications and integrated marketing plans.

You will:

• identify ways that strategic communications can contribute to the success of Ministry operations and services
• coordinate the planning, development and delivery of modern communications programs and marketing initiatives
• serve as strategic advisor and communications subject matter expert to branch staff, senior Ministry officials and the Minister's office

What we are looking for:

Communications and Marketing Skills:

• extensive demonstrated knowledge and expertise in developing strategic communications and integrated marketing plans using multiple components, including on-line applications and new media
• expertise in coordinating the delivery of proactive and reactive communications programs and initiatives

Leadership, Project Management and Communication Skills:

• strong leadership and proven project management skills to effectively participate in projects and integrated marketing initiatives
• demonstrated communication skills including oral, writing, editing, designing and presentation, to produce a variety of high quality materials
• interpersonal, negotiation and consultative skills to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders

Research and Evaluation Skills:

• proven research, problem-solving, analytical and evaluation skills to analyze and advise on emerging and contentious issues and identify options and approaches
• demonstrated judgment to deal with politically sensitive issues
