Position Overview

We are looking for a technical search marketing person with a bunch of experience. This person can live in the Vancouver area and work in-house with our team and demonstrate their past SEO and SEM experience for our clients. It's a full time position.

The Status Bureau is a digital marketing shop in Gastown. We execute data driven campaigns for clients across Canada and some in the US. We're growing and have a lot of opportunity for those that can demonstrate their expertise.

Your Responsibilities

• PPC Management
• Technical management of campaigns
• SEO planning and execution
• Reporting and in-depth updates on progress
• Analytics and analysis
• Social Media posting and management
• Playing Xbox

Skills & Experience

• Past experience in a search marketing role
• You get the web inside and out
• You're mainly technically driven
• Degree or diploma in a relative field
• Familiar with front end code
• Lots of experience with Excel
• Ability to write in English at a University level
• Proven experience with Google Adwords, Analytics, Bing, Facebook ads, and more
• Ability to generate blog posts and create content ideas
• Knows Search Engine Optimization ideas, forecasting, and execution strategies
• Ability to work as part of a team and understand ongoing client needs

Compensation

• Salary range is $55k-$65k depending on experience and performance.
