BURDIFILEK is a fast-paced, progressive, highly creative commercial interior design firm. We are actively looking for an energetic, articulate professional to join our marketing and media-relations group. We are a mid-sized downtown firm catering to a roster of global clients and we are looking for the best of the best to join our award-winning team.
This is a challenging, multi-faceted position that requires a creative, well-organised, motivated individual who has the ability to respond and adapt to an ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities
Marketing & Business Development
- Lead the development and execution of marketing strategy; articulate project-based goals and objectives and manage budgets
- Generate new business leads and manage relationships with senior executives within top tier international organisations across various industries
- Develop marketing content and collateral providing a consistent voice and aesthetic for the company
- Participate in sales meetings and presentations
- Respond to requests for information and compile proposal submissions
- Build brand awareness and bolster overall visibility
- Develop proposals and manage coordination of speaking engagements for the firm principals
- Provide ongoing support for Burdifilek’s Managing Partner
- Direct and mentor junior members of the marketing team
Occasional
- Development of written communications for competition entries
- Talent recruitment; write job postings, manage communications and coordinate interviews
Required skills and experience
- Minimum five to seven years in a Marketing and Sales role
- Progressive experience in executing comprehensive, multi-channel marketing initiatives
- Proven abilities in brand strategy development and execution, relationship management, and visual communications
- Comprehensive understanding of fashion, retail, hospitality and real estate development markets nationally and internationally
Qualified candidates must also have:
- A bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related
- Design-related experience and an understanding of the Interior Design industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Photoshop, InDesign and experience with Sage ACT! Databases
