Core Responsibilities
The Web Product Owner is responsible for the Core guest-facing web based applications including lululemon.com, ivivva.com and all international sites. This role represents the “voice of the customer” by maintaining and prioritizing multiple backlogs to ensure that the team is working on stories that maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality to all guests. The Web Product Owner understands the value of using data and metrics to make the best decisions for our guests, anticipating their needs for additional features and functionality. The Web Product Owner works on one of the largest, most complex products, and drives significant innovation across the company. As The Web Product Owner your job is to continuously remove impediments for your team by working with multiple groups both internally and externally, while communicating a clear and concise product vision that embodies the digital strategy and direction of the digital organization. The Web Product Owner knows when to say no to requests and understands how to work with long-range directional initiatives while maintaining extremely short, rapid development sprints. The Web Product Owner works directly with the teams srum masters, product deisgners, lead engineers and group architects for all planning.
The finer print
- Bachelors in Management, Business or related fields
- 3-5 years of product strategy role and experience across web platforms including 2-3 years experience in an ecommerce organization for multi-million dollar ecomm retail brands
- Experience working with Oracle products like ATG
- Experience working in an agile development including tools like JIRA, Aha! and others
- Strong communication skills and team management
- Digital expertise and experience
- Core understanding of web technologies, including code platforms and languages
- Execute on the vision, key strategic initiatives of the company and embrace a guest-first mentality for your product
- Draft the vision, key objectives, strategies and accurately apply data and metrics to make directional decisions for your product
- Posses a fundamental understanding of the guest-facing customer experience including its integrations and dependencies
- Accountable for your product portfolio, delivered through the use of agile methodologies
- Communicate with clarity and precision to key stakeholders, business groups and partners
- Lead, manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholder management for a product(s)
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Consistently meet and exceed planned growth goals and business objects
