We need someone who will work with our team and customers to deliver top-notch solutions.  Traction is looking for a Mobile Front End Developer experienced in building interfaces to rich Internet applications to join our development team–ideally with experience in mobile/tablet development.   Maybe you even like to wake board, or even sing karaoke!

Specific areas of concentration include:

• Builds client-specific solutions on the Force.com platform using Apex/Visual Force (Salesforce proprietary language, similar to Java or C#/ASP.NET), HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
• Builds software applications – Follows coding standards, builds appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts
• Translates designs and style guides provided by the UI/UX team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance
• Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies

Outcomes

• Salesforce Developer Certification within six (6) months
• Ability to be client facing within 90 days

Requirements

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with mobile application development
• Well versed in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies
• Graphic design principles capability is preferable; e.g. (Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (jQuery, Angular, Prototype, Dojo, Backbone, YUI), HTML and CSS
• Strong knowledge of relational databases
• Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions
• Highly motivated with the ability to prioritize what’s on your plate
• Enjoys client- facing work
• Not afraid to ask questions
• Embraces learning new things
