MARKETING SPECIALIST (Temp FT aprox 1 year)

THE POSITION: Reporting to the AVP, Marketing and Strategic Intelligence, the Marketing Specialist is a subject matter expert with respect to a specific function within the marketing team. Responsibilities will include:

• Working with both the marketing team and retail to ensure that all marketing and retail sales and service plans are effectively developed and executed
• Ensure a high level of service to other staff and leadership as a subject matter expert and participate in the development of marketing and strategic plans
• Responsible to build and maintain beneficial public relations; coordinate and utilize media and business opportunities where appropriate to support building a corporate image and branding
• Develop and manage business plans and budgets ensuring principles of cost control and appropriate resource allocation is maintained

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA:

• Diploma in Business, Commerce, Economics, Statistics or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of four years of experience
