Norm Li AG+I, an architectural graphics and illustrations studio in Toronto, is currently seeking a creative and highly motivated individual to join our team as Marketing Associate for a 14-month contract to cover a maternity leave, with potential for permanent employment. Job Description
Working closely with the Principal/Founder and Sales Associate, the Marketing Associate provides support for marketing related activities and administrative tasks including, but not limited to the following.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing proposals and presentations for prospective clients
- Copy writing, graphic design, layout, drafting, editing, organizing and proofing various marketing collateral, including proposal content, project sheets, brochures, and media relations pieces
- Assist with inbound marketing activities such as social media management, newsletter development, blogging, and website maintenance
- Ensure marketing content is comprehensive, competitive and client-specific
- Tracking industry news, trends, and events
- Tasks will also include coordinating events and tradeshow participation, publicity efforts, and direct mail campaigns
- Performing administrative tasks as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related area
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience
- Proficiency in graphic software programs Adobe Suite (In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop) and MS Powerpoint is a mandatory requirement
- Strong knowledge of email marketing and social media marketing
- Experience in professional services environment, specifically in Architecture & Interior Design and/or Engineering considered an asset
