Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Marketing Communications, the Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for creating, implementing and overseeing communication programs that effectively describe and promote PointClickCare and our products and services, while maintaining corporate brand and image.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team to create and manage cross-organization, integrated communication strategies
- Coordinate communications projects with key internal stakeholders for the development and production of materials that support nationally based communications strategies that maintain corporate image and message consistency
- Oversee the production of various marketing and public relations materials to be used across various media platforms
- Provide writing and editing support for external communications including but not limited to collateral, presentations, brochures, case studies, white papers, web content, videos, newsletters, ads and sales tools with input from product and segment marketing, product management, executives, sales, and customers
- Develop new and improve communication materials while ensuring accuracy and timely distribution
Required Skills
Required Experience
- 7-10 years of related experience, ideally in the software or technology fields
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communication, journalism OR RELATED AREA
- Must be experienced with content campaign management, from the development of an idea through to its execution
- Experienced in collaborating in the development of marketing assets such as infographs, digital content (such as videos), banner ads, social media content
- Must be able to demonstrate experience in building consensus, collaborating with cross groups to get things done
- Must have experience and understanding working with other disciplines such as PR, marketing programs, trade shows, events and third party influencers
- Proven ability to deliver results in a highly collaborative environment
- Must be experienced in working to deadlines and manage projects independently
- PR Agency experience will be considered an asset
- Brand storytelling
- Excellent people skills with an upbeat, enthusiastic attitude and a professional maturity suitable for a B2B environment
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled at narrative development, at brand storytelling - can thread a narrative together
- Proven ability to write copy for a variety of mediums and audiences
- Exceptional proofreading and editing skills for grammar, style, and content accuracy
- Strong understanding of current marketing practices
- Able to deliver results and take initiative with minimal supervision in a highly collaborative environment
- Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Polished professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, with an ability to adapt to change
