Support the Marketing Team in continually elevating the IBAO brand. Responsible for taking a broad and proactive role in IBAO marketing initiatives including the production of content and marketing collateral.
WRITING/EDITING (50%)
- Create weekly email marketing campaigns including CEO, IBAOeducation and Affiliate updates; compile and contribute content, distribute to 12,000+ members and track open rates/analytics as appropriate
- Contribute content for promotional materials including ads, brochures and presentations
- Write and edit editorial content for our bi-monthly magazine; assign articles and coordinate with magazine contributors
- Write and edit posts for our IBAO blog
- Contribute to the development of event collateral and promotional materials for IBAO events including Convention, YBC Conference, Regional Meetings, AGM and Queen’s Park Awareness Day
SOCIAL MEDIA (20%)
- Proactively update IBAO social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Vimeo
- Maintain all IBAO social media platforms to the highest standard; report on metrics/engagement
MARKETING (20%)
- Assist with the implementation of yearly marketing and communication plans to promote association initiatives and events; contribute to the planning and implementation of an annual editorial calendar
- Proactively coordinate, review and update IBAO website changes
- Contribute to the evolution of the IBAO brand including marketing collateral and communication components; continuously elevate the quality of IBAO marketing collateral
- Provide marketing and communication support for the IBAO Annual Report
- Track and report marketing metrics including Google Analytics, Mail Chimp and other tracking and reporting tools
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (10%)
- Build and maintain positive relationships with external contacts on marketing related initiatives
- Coordinate advertising, print and distribution components of our bi-monthly magazine
- Coordinate communication and marketing collateral with IBAO Affiliates
REQUIREMENTS
- Post-Secondary Education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related discipline
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Mail Chimp, Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Vimeo), WordPress, Blogging, Database Management
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- 2 years progressive, demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, public relations or a comparable context
