Manager, Lifecycle Marketing full-time
Purpose of Job:
Under the direction of the Senior Manager, this role is responsible for end-to-end customer lifecycle marketing programs to support the growth of the Scotia iTRADE customer base. The incumbent will focus to deliver the value proposition at customer touch points, increase customer engagement level and build loyalty.
In collaboration with the Senior Manager, this role will proactively develop marketing strategies, activation, usage and retention opportunities, client incentives, portfolio analysis, and existing client programs to enable the growth of the customer base and link to business results.
Major Accountabilities:
1. Marketing Plan Execution/Business Growth
Collaborate with business partners to drive profitable revenue growth by maintaining end-to-end customer lifecycle marketing programs to support the growth of the Scotia iTRADE customer base by:
Develop full understanding of the campaigns being deployed into market with a long term vision of success
Develop customer base marketing plans, including lifecycle curriculum, activation, usage and retention programs against targets
Identify opportunities in the campaigns being deployed, focusing on delivering improvement on offers, targeting, modeling and overall message delivery by sales channel
Achieve cost per campaign targets
Make ROI based decisions to fully optimize the marketing investment
Identify opportunities to optimize sponsorship opportunities
Leverage best practices in campaign design with test/control groups
Identify and maintain lead generation opportunities to accelerate business growth and improve client experience
Build client journeys to maximize opportunities and engage clients into a long-term relationship with Scotia iTRADE
Execute on all client email deployments and ensure emails follow best practices and brand standards, while providing relevant and concise information to the audience
Develop Omni-Channel campaigns for existing clients to increase sales and customer satisfaction/loyalty
2. Direct Marketing
Create a holistic client communications approach aligned with client experience
3. Research Activities
Monitor, measure, and report on campaign’s effectiveness and performance, and present findings
Look for opportunities and leverage learnings for continuous performance improvement through analytical efforts and make recommendations
Identify, evaluate and test opportunities through various channels and tactics to increase activation and engagement of Scotia iTRADE client base
4. Internal & Vendor Relationships
Oversees vendor relationships to effectively meet marketing program objective.
Identify opportunities to optimize vendor agency relationships to deliver innovations and report on performance
Education:
University degree required, Business or Marketing undergrad or related field.
5+ years work experience
Strategic and analytical attributes combined with marketing and management skills required to develop proactive marketing strategies and execution plans.
Knowledge of B2C / B2B Marketing & Sales distribuiton
Brokerage or relevant Financial sector experience preferred
Breakthrough strategic thinking, change management and idea creation skills
Expereinced with customer centric marketing / selling skills including strategic planning / segmentation, customer competitive positioning / rankings, new product/service / price innovations, and strategic partner/acquisition business development
Financial P&L understanding, attention to detail, organization and integrity/ethics
Strong written and oral communications
