Manager, Creative Content & Catalogue Development full-time

The Marketing department is currently looking for an experienced Creative Content & Catalogue Development Manager to join their team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing the ideal candidate will be accountable for managing a team of two and is responsible for all creative content development, including two seasonal catalogues, four seasonal sale flyers, print ads, other miscellaneous flyers and other promotional materials.
Responsibilities:
- Catalogue production and development (twice a year) – including but not limited to:
- Soliciting quotes and selecting agencies (creative and print)
- Securing budget
- Working with Design team on layout, content and positioning
- Overseeing photography and final layout
- Approving final proofs and ensuring timely delivery of final product
- Seeking out and proposing new and improved ways to develop and deliver catalogue content
- Seasonal sales flyers (Four times a year) – including but not limited to:
- Coordinating with inventory management team to determine styles for inclusion
- Overseeing graphic development, printing and the distribution of flyers
- Seasonal launch materials :
- Confirm all needed materials with key stakeholders (sales, customer service, design, marketing)
- Ensure timely creation and delivery of materials
- Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of all seasonal launch processes
- Develop Video content for website and social media
- Liaise with Design team to understand product development initiatives
- Work with Marketing Services team on print and digital ad creative development
- Work with Sales Support and Channel Marketing on account and channel specific creative materials
Deliverables:
- Constantly delivering new and innovative catalogue/creative ideas
- Two printed catalogues per year – 300 pages x 1, 60 pages x 1
- Four seasonal sales flyers per year
- Printed selling materials as requested
- Print ads as needed
- Brand product videos as needed
- Continuous improvement and innovation in catalogue development and delivery
Qualifications/Requirements:
- University degree and post graduate diploma specializing in marketing and/or design
- 5 years experience in managing a team responsible for catalogue development and creative graphics development
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
- Ability to work effectively within and manage a cross functional team
- Strong time management skills
- Strong project management skills
- Exceptionally creative eye and desire to deliver innovative and unique creative concepts
