Idea Couture is looking for an Interactive Designer to join our growing world-class design team. The successful candidate will be open, flexible and creative, inherently understanding the nuances of the consumer needs and behaviour. Candidates must be comfortable working in very dynamic, creative, fast paced, and rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Create UI and visual design for large-scale digital products and online experiences
• Work closely with the development team in an agile workflow to push boundaries and develop novel interactions
• Participate in the full life-cycle of projects to add design value to strategy, IA, content, and development discussions
• Work in teams following established creative directions
• Develop your own interactive concepts and designs

Required skills / Experience

• Undergraduate degree in graphic design or related field
• 1-3 years of interactive experience OR natural focus on current interactive workflows
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment with business thinkers, researchers, human factors specialists, communication specialists, industrial and interactive designers
• Fluent in user-research design and testing methodologies
• Proficient with the Adobe CS4 suite
• Ability to translate concepts into HTML/CSS/Flash prototypes considered an asset
