Pythian requires a web and print designer. The Designer will design the Pythian website, design content for print, and participate in the development and integration of Pythian’s brand. The Designer ensures the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of all graphical content. The job will be very varied and will require someone who can take a brief and translate it into creative concepts.

Overview

• Sales and Marketing material design (Brochures, direct mailers, posters, social media graphics, etc)
• Tradeshow material
• Web Content (banners, ads, various webpage elements)
• Corporate identity

Desired Skills/Experience

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (CS5, CS6)
• Exceptional design aesthetic, variations on styles and awareness of design trends and innovation
• Solid knowledge of all printing processes and pre-press production including preparing images/files for print
• Flexible, collaborative, and a team player
• Accurate and detail-oriented
• Ability to multi-task, and work with others in a collaborative environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge and experience with HTML/CSS including HTML e-newsletters
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to consistently check the quality of work and deliverables
• Experience developing and managing creative assets
• Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
• Knowledge of video production and editing would be advantageous

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in the design field.
• Must be able to work on multiple projects
• Must be creative, independent, and able to see a creative project from idea conceptualization through to final execution.
• Must be aware of production techniques and should be able to coordinate with vendors.
• Must be extremely organized
