The Roxy is one of Vancouver's most beloved live music venues, and the institution known for throwing the best parties for over 24 years and running. We're looking for the right person to take the reins - someone who has lived and breathed the Vancouver scene all of their life, has a mental blueprint of where and when the best nights to party are, and probably knows The Roxy like the back of their hand.

The Job:

You will need to be a multi-faceted team player and great at leading, training, and motivating your staff. You will be involved in the marketing of the venue, liaising and negotiating with a range of clients, ensure profitability and sales quotas are met, maintaining the artistic quality of the venue's entertainment offerings.

Other management duties may include business forecasting, financial reporting, strategic planning, staff supervision, business opportunity expansion, venue use analysis and maintaining best practices in venue management.

Qualifications:

5+ years' management experience in a high volume bar or live music venue setting
Highly proficient in multiple POS systems and programming, Windows & Microsoft Office
Currently active and up to date with social media platforms and best utilizations for business
Stability as defined by no more than 2 employers in the past 5 years

Key Assets:

Super high energy, outgoing and personable
Extensive music knowledge- especially rock from all eras, new and old
Live music venue logistics, stage and lighting technical knowledge
