eMarketing Strategist
Bring your creativity and technical savvy to this one-year contract position with our
Professional Services team
From developing our online marketing strategy and search engine optimization (SEO) to identifying partners and creating compelling copy, you will be a key component to our goal of acquiring and maximizing the lifetime value of our customers.
You will position our organization—and specifically our member services-driven online community PD Net—at the forefront of the online learning choices for CGA professional development.
You will be involved in all aspects of eMarketing initiatives: creating and executing online marketing campaigns, sales and promotions; creating customer communications programs; managing direct-to-member marketing; conducting product surveys and market research; developing search engine, email and social media marketing strategies.
As someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial culture, you combine the creativity to write engaging—and effective—copy and develop innovative campaigns with the business savvy and critical attention to detail to measure and analyze the results.
In addition, you will:
- Act as PD Net’s brand representative, increasing brand awareness, product sales and new client acquisition
- Use search engine optimization, including written content, widgets, infographics, videos, and keyword data
- Develop a social media strategy
- Identify high-quality advertising partners
- Optimize e-commerce promotions
- Consult with internal and external clients to understand business needs and recommend marketing solutions
- Build relationships with bloggers, social media influencers, organizations and new sites to build partnerships
- Spearhead continuous improvement of our site by working with developers, designers and the marketing team.
With at least 3 years’ experience in internet marketing and sales for learning or professional development products and a degree in marketing, sales, communications, digital media or information technology, you have developed the ability to translate strategic eMarketing plans—including online marketing, email marketing, integrated marketing communications and social media marketing—into tangible results.
Proficient with a content management system, Google Analytics, HTML and website best practices, you will leverage your ability to anticipate market trends to forecast online marketing and sales strategies for e-learning product development.
A background in accountancy and learning environments would be an asset.
