Director of Consulting full-time

Tait Communications and Consulting Ltd. is looking for a leader who understands marketing communications, the nature of agency work, how to keep clients happy, and how to motivate and support an experienced team.

Tait Communications is a small marketing communications and business consulting firm in the NWT with a big reputation. We’ve been doing great work for the past 15 years, and our clients have come to depend on us.

We never stop evolving. Right now, we need to find a creative director who’s a born leader, and who exemplifies what Tait stands for. (We’ve spelled it all out in our statement of principles and standards). We see this as a long-term relationship, with the potential for the Director of Consulting to grow into the role of CEO in the next 2 – 3 years. A future equity position is possible.

We’re looking for someone versatile, bringing strong skills to the table as a manager, a marketing communicator or both.  We’re looking for skills in project management, writing and editing, preparing and making presentations, strategic thinking, planning marketing communications initiatives, social marketing, small group facilitation, new media, business planning.  OK, we may not find someone with all these skills, but if you shine in a few or a lot of these areas, we’ll find a way to let you use those skills – and help you develop the rest.
