Responsibilities:
- Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics for the company
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to include social media (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube), print & online advertising and other digital campaigns. These plans are to be accompanied by a method of tracking and reporting.
- Understand the gamut of online sales to conceptualize, manage and facilitate sales on the company’s mobile app and other targeted digital campaigns
- Create custom pages and manage content on company’s website
- Work with the web and mobile app team to provide online support to all online users and accounts
- Develop and create HTML e-blasts for the company to advertise with online magazines
- Develop and design sell sheets and marketing collateral for new product launches and B2B tradeshows
- Work with exports team and customers to send across relevant marketing material
- Create, manage and implement all email marketing campaigns including tracking and reporting
- Expand and maintain customer email database
- Write, design and distribute regularly scheduled online newsletters and webinar invitations
- Develop new partnerships and seek high-level placements in print and online media including but not limited to magazines, bloggers and trade show corporations
- Create content for press releases, byline articles and blogs
- Liaise with printers, videographers and translators to roll out marketing material
- Overlook and support the customer care team with online chat and social media tools
Social Media
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media marketing plan
- Manage and update Facebook pages and websites
- Develop content for YouTube channel and promote video clips
- Enhance social media outlets and opportunities to maintain communication and build fan base
- Develop new social partnerships to increase web traffic
- Plan & implement social media contests and other campaigns
- Track and analyze website and social media performance
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
- A minimum 3-5 years marketing & social media experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with WordPress, Photoshop, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, GotoWebinar and Email Marketing Software (i.e. Constant Contact)
- Knowledge on HTML and Adobe Dreamweaver – added advantage
- Self-motivated and confident in making sound business decisions
- Successful with outlining, managing and performing in a multi-tasking environment
