Digital Art Director full-time
If you don't know Dare, that's probably because you don't live in the UK, where Dare is the Digital Agency of the Decade. Their success comes from their culture of innovation and unique agency structure, adding tech and planning to the traditional mix.
Dare Vancouver is currently looking for a junior to intermediate Digital Art Director to join their creative team.
About you:
You ideally have three to five years of industry experience, so you’re a little bit seasoned but still have new ways of thinking. Your mouse-holding hand has a good firm grasp of digital design, usability and interface, with an understanding of typography, logo and icon design. Most importantly, your brain churns out smart concepts and you execute them beautifully. You’re a sponge when it comes to keeping with new trends, design techniques and web applications. Tight deadlines? Demanding clients? Bring it on, you say. Your elementary school report cards say you work well with others, and you’d never take the last cup of coffee without brewing a fresh pot.
About the role:
Working closely with the Creative Director, you will be involved in the conceptual development of online advertising including websites, intranets, banner and rich media campaigns, etc. You will play an integral role in team coordination and directing how final art is visually implemented. It is your job to oversee and participate in the creation of concept story boards, presentation development and preparation. In doing so, you will need to coordinate with project managers and direct and organize creative teams to ensure specific timelines and client needs are met. Presentation of design concepts to clients and preparation of the creative teams for such presentations will also be your responsibility.
Dare is an award-winning agency and candidates need to have the award-winning mindset to keep up with the agency’s reputation and support his/her team into winning more of them.
