Developer full-time

Role: Developer (NOC 2174)
Salary: $95,000 - $120,000/year and Benefits (Extended Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance) + may be eligible for bonuses and salary increases, if applicable
Position: 45 hours/week, Full-time, Permanent
Location of work: Aritzia Support Office (#118-611 Alexander St. Vancouver, BC, V6A 1E1)

The Developer is driven by a desire to improve business results through technology solutions. He/she will apply their skills to ensure our IT Applications systems run efficiently and turn new business requirements into solutions.

Key responsibilities of the Developer will include the following:

• 'Moving the needle’; assisting business leads in gathering business requirements for targeted application improvements and enhancements
• Participating in the conceptual design of quality solutions that meet business objectives in compliance with best development standards
• Contributing to the high productivity and motivation of the team, using your communication and interpersonal skills to ensure the team is reaching and realizing goals

The Developer will possess the following qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree in computer science or equivalent
• Proven experience working with the business, building relationships, gathering requirements and finding solutions
• 5+ years of ABAP development experience, including the following modules: CAR, SD, MM, IC, LE, LO; experience working in Fiori would be an asset
• Exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a retail environment is an asset
• Experience with Demandware (or other eCommerce platform) is an asset
