a day in the life of a Design Assistant

Gate – Owns the day to day

Supports the Pod in all aspects of design: drawings, presentations, fittings and functional solutions (you are the master of illustrator)

Partners with Line Lead and Designers to create and own seasonal techpacks

Responsible for mock ups and solution oriented support prior to WWDT

Supports in colour up of the line and management of colour execution

Partners with designer to colour up seasonal line and manage all lab dip data

Owns the accuracy and execution of flats; partners with developers and merchants to resolve in-season issues

Be an expert in yoga and run, be connected to the athlete and to the floor

Work on the lululemon floor in one of our stores once every two weeks

The finer print

3+ years industry experience in bag design, accessories and/or apparel design.

Strong knowledge of bag construction, patterning and sewing techniques; strong understanding of hardgood fabrication processes and materials.

Adhere to strict timelines and calendar dates to deliver exceptional product, on-time.

Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or closely related field, OR diploma in Design.

Experience working in one of our lululemon stores is a plus

Advanced ability with Microsoft Office Software and Adobe Suite (Illustrator)
