WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Reporting to the department manager, the Customer Support Specialist / Junior Web Developer will be responsible for maintenance and updates to client websites. The ideal person for this position is a forward thinker and critical decision maker with a strong technical background.
Responsibilities include:
- Updating and daily maintenance of client websites
- Providing support to Blender clients by email and phone
- Email distribution and subscriber list management for clients
- Liaise with design, development, projects and sales teams to fulfill client requests
- Completing Internal projects
- Quality Assurance testing
YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, jQuery and CMS (Wordpress or other), Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of the Canadian Anti-spam legislation and web accessibility
- 2+ years of customer service experience, providing both email and phone support
- Customer service oriented with a natural desire to care for the needs of others
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time
