Role:

We are looking for an ambitious, creative content creator who wants to join a fast growing, VC-backed Canadian leading platform. Funnelytics visually connects marketing data to strategy on one intuitive drag & drop canvas that aligns teams on their customer journeys. Over the past 3 years, Funnelytics has scaled to tens of thousands of users around the world, and we have most recently ventured into new opportunities as we look to raise a Series A.

The right candidate has a mind for creating engaging content, comfortable working across different mediums, Organized and detail oriented, and gets excited by growth. They will research topics based on keywords and craft 1500+ word blog posts, emails, product updates, social media posts, sales materials, client success materials. With a strong eye for design with ability to do some design work in tools like Canva, but more importantly they are self-sufficient enough to find design talent on places like upwork and fiverr to get things done. Seeing as we are a customer journey analytics and optimization platform, the right candidate must have extensive knowledge and a passion for learning digital marketing, sales and conversion theory

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.

• Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.

• Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.

• Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.

• Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.

• Monitoring social media and company website metrics.

• Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.

• Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.

Results:

• Increase awareness and organic traffic of the Funnelytics brand

• Increase demo requests by communicating product updates

• Build a loyal reader base by crafting engaging newsletters and content

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience creating strong, engaging content in a content creator, content writer/strategist or a similar role

• Extensive knowledge of email marketing, knowledge of digital publishing and generating leads.

• Basic SEO knowledge to help increase organic traffic

• A portfolio of applicable outputs.

• Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.

• Strong storytelling skills with a proven ability to capture attention

• Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to handle a high volume of deliverables simultaneously.

• Strong listening and communication skills.

• The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.

• Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
