Brand Manager full-time

Northlands is recruiting for a Brand Manager, Social Media and Sales Promotion, to develop and implement social media strategies and sales promotion programs that connect Northlands and its brands with current and prospective partners to meet the financial goals and strategic objectives of the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with the marketing team and reach across all business channels to build social media strategies and programs tied to tangible business objectives for Northlands business units. Cultivate and expand on current partnerships with key media organizations and businesses that pertain to Northlands objectives. Navigate social media and other innovative marketing methods to contribute to revenue growth.
Experience and Skills:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in communications, marketing, advertising or a related discipline. Minimum three (3) years experience delivering professional, integrated social marketing, sales promotion and marketing services. Relevant experience must include elements of communications planning, strategic brand management, marketing, public relations, sales promotion and advertising.
Experience developing, implementing and evaluating research plans are also required. Solid experience and understanding of the digital and social space, and the proven ability to create and deliver key marketing messages in a way that engages consumers.
Superior communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to build and foster relationships both internally and externally. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and web based platforms. Knowledge of Northlands Signature Events and the agricultural industry in Alberta is a definite asset.
