Summary:
The Associate Marketing Manager, Cox Automotive Canada Financial Solutions Group is responsible for developing and maintaining brand and product marketing plans and activities to support the business functions of the NextGear Capital brand. This role will partner with a local and remote extended marketing team to develop programs that facilitate awareness, engagement, partnership and revenue from products and services. This person will collaborate closely with a wide range of internal business stakeholders and work closely with Manager-level leadership, Marketing peers, Ops/Sales, Client Experience, Field Operations, Technology/Product Management and Communications within Cox Automotive. This person reports to the National Brand Marketing Manager, Cox Automotive Canada.
Position Duties:
Help manage the NextGear Capital brand in Canada and is responsible for the associated day-to-day operations as well as execution of brand and product positioning, product launches, FS active campaigns and cross-business unit campaigns.
Develops annual and quarterly marketing plans to support business segmentation and strategy.
Manage and execute digital marketing programs including email, social media, search & display marketing campaigns
Responsible for managing and updating the Canadian website
Maintains key messaging and brand standards / identity for brands and products across all internal and external communications.
Develop and manage sales support materials including creative requests, content strategy, communication, advertising flights and collateral.
Leverages marketing agency partners for creative production and collateral development.
Works to support the execution of strategic advertising and promotional plans.
Collaborates with internal and external communications teams to ensure alignment across team member communications, executive communications, product communications, client communications, and industry communications/PR.
Works to coordinate / align resources to support listed responsibilities from adjacent Marketing functions (Market Intelligence, Research & Marketing Analytics, Industry Marketing, Public Relations).
Travels up to 10% - 15% of time to visit Atlanta & Indiana corporate offices, national auction sites, attend sales meetings, meet with key customers, manage creative development, solicit field / customer feedback, and attend industry and other events.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns, including internal and/or external agency management
Experience running digital marketing campaigns
Track record of utilizing research and insights to identify new market opportunities and develop customer strategies to execute against those opportunities
Experience creating and executing marketing plans
Display excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Knowledgeable about advertising, marketing strategy and market research
Experience with Wordpress or similar Website content management system
Experience with email marketing tools such as Exact Target, Mail Chimp or Constant Contact
Strong collaboration skills
Able to manage different projects at the same time
Ability to work with remote management and teams
Strong business acumen and constant professional presence
B2B experience an asset
Education and Experience:
B.A. Degree in Marketing or Related Field, MBA Preferred, Automotive Experience a Plus
3-5+ years of business experience required
Physical Demands:

Driving – must have a valid driver’s license
Travel- must be willing to travel occasionally if needed (10 - 15%)
