Graphic Designer

Job Summary

For a Graphic Designer who lives and breathes design, typography, color theory, and composition - our internal agency within the automotive industry will fire up your creativity and keep you on your toes. Working closely with our regional strategists, marketing coordinators, and digital specialists, you will translate marketing and brand strategies into comps that render beautifully in print and code.

Job Responsibilities

Graphic Designers takes responsibility for the following key functions:

• Design creative that aligns with strategic goals and brand guidelines.

• Manage and create compelling design projects from inception to completion including websites, online ads, traditional media campaigns, and signage.

• Create print-ready files and liaise with printing companies as required.

• Optimize graphics for quick load-time on the web without losing quality.

• Make recommendations to improve look and feel of existing creative.

• Actively participate in team meetings to better integrate creative design opportunities.

• Other duties as required or directed by the Director of Marketing.

Job Skills/Requirements:

• Graduate of recognized Graphic Design program (degree or diploma).

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.

• Able to work creatively within existing brand guidelines.

• Attention to detail, excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and proofs in a team environment.

• Excellent time management skills to keep all jobs on track, meet deadlines & work with tight timelines.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

• Automotive industry experience is an asset but not required.
