Communications Program Lead
We are looking for a passionate person, to lead our communications program in building our new Global Alzheimer’s online community.
airG is starting a new major initiative building a large online community of people, caregivers, doctors, and family members interested in dementia, and Alzheimer’s. We want to bring people together and create an open dialog covering all the stages of Alzheimer’s.
Our vision is to create an online presence, community that communicates in a simple, clear way about Alzheimer’s, without all the technical jargon, that everyone can understand. airG wants to grow a large online community that is active, providing current material, drawing people to return on a regular basis.
This community will provide the tools and resources for people to learn at their own pace and to encourage people to be proactive about their health by providing online tests to monitor their own progress over time, in the privacy of their own home. This community will use storytelling to engage. These goals will form the foundation of the research and development of a novel online community-based communications model for Alzheimer’s.
For this role you will:
Be our communication champion
Create, implement and build our online web, social media communications message
Manage, engage and interact with our community
Starting from scratch build our Alzheimer’s community
Collaborate to develop and further evolve the community
Key Talents:
Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
Medical knowledge, experience dementia, Alzheimer’s;
Existing online and social media experience
Experience in creating and building an active, growing community
A team player who enjoys working with internal and external stakeholders
University education (journalism, medicine)
